Hey! I just saw a -4 on the weather, the coldest this season, that was forecasted for next Tuesday, the 25th of December, the day we here in MN call Christmas.
Not 10 below or even 20 below what I would call normal for this time of the year -4 isn’t even a cold day to start a morning with, as I haven’t even started wearing my flannel lined jeans yet. January used to bring in more than a few 20 below mornings and one or two 40 below mornings, but not the last few years, and most likely not this year either. It will get cold in January as it always does, I will start wearing my flannel lined jeans, I just ain’t got a clue when. I’ve only worn my Parka once to use the snow blower, and built up a sweat with that on, I actually debated if I should need that Parka of just wear my barn coat, which is good down to 10 above without a sweater, which I took off when I put on that parka. The temp was around 28 above that day and a warm day this time of the year.
I in my opinion am still concerned that next year will continue here to be another drought.

Warm in comparison with what? In comparison with my living room, no. In comparison with average temperatures in those parts of Russia, I don't know. In comparison with cold snaps in previous years, I still don't know.
